In order for David Cook to win, Brooke had to go sometime but I didn't think it would be tonight. Syesha is way too Broadway and Jason just plain sucks. Why wasn't it one of them? It was so sad even I teared up while Brooke was singing. I expect all of you to vote for David C. like crazy from here on out!

Home Again, sniff sniff.

Well we all knew we couldn't stay forever, but I wish I had a couple more days at the happiest place on earth. This was a really fun trip for me and my kids. They have been pouting since we came home that they can't wait another two years to go back. I kind of agree, except I need that long to save up my money again and catch up on my laundry! I hope you all enjoyed your Disney experience as much as we did.

Okay, so I don't have anything creative to post. So, once again, I'll talk about IDOL! Holy cow. I LOVE DAVID COOK!!!!!!!!!!! I could not believe how well he sang that song. David A was fantastic as well, but Cook gave me chills. I feel super bad for Brooke. Once she got going she sounded great. Sayisha was awesome. She looked to die for! Jason.....I think it's time. I haven't been a huge fan so I want him to go before Brooke, but after tonight, it might be the end for her. Okay, I'll stop now. I can't believe how incredibly creative you guys are. Sorry I'm such a tard with that kinda stuff. I can post yard work soon!!! Ya, how retarded am I. Love ya!! 36 hours!!!!

Okay, so I finally finished the capris tonight despite my dizzy spells (the new meds are just now manifesting a side affect right before D-land - just lovely). Sherie, I even made Camry's and Sidney's one size smaller, but they will still fit a little baggy. I think they are cute, what do ya'll think?

OK, if you haven't seen this movie you must! Sherie and I saw it when we were in nashville at the theater and we loved it. It is now out on DVD and so I bought it and Randy and I watched it last night. I cried even harder than I did when I first saw it. I love a movie that can make you laugh and cry in the same show. If you don't have the DVD and want to see it let me know and I will loan you mine.

Oh, and by the way, there are only 4 MORE DAYS TIL DISNEYLAND!

Can you stand it. This guy is so incredibly talented. I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!! I've tried voting for he and DA, but the lines are busy, busy, busy so I voted for Brooke. WOW, I just can't get over him. STINKIN' GOOD!!!!

Is everyone FREAKING out!!!

I can NOT believe that Michael Johns is gone. Every year there is an upset episode and I think this was it. How is he gone and Christy, Syesha, Jason, and Carly are still there!?! I felt so bad for him. His face showed that he was in total shock!! Sherie gets mad every week because she wants to chat about the show and I always DVR it. Tonight was the first night I watched it live and she was gone and the other sisters DVR it so there was NO ONE to discuss it with. Now I know how she feels. Well, those are my thoughts...I hope you all agree. :(

Holy Cow!

I cannot believe it! I am shocked that it was Michael Johns that was eliminated! Wow - I told Sherie that I was unable to get through Tuesday night to get my votes in. I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Of course I wasn't trying to vote for MJ, just Archuleta and Brooke. What do you guys think?

Idol thoughts?

I swear David A. gets better every week and he had the best performance of the night. I was disappointed in DC and Carli tonight. I didn't think you could hear or understand David and Carli did seem angry as Simon said. Don't shoot me, but I thought Kristi did her best so far this season. I didn't think she could pull off a Martina song, but she did very well. Of course we all love that version of "Rainbow" so Jason is definitely safe this week. I think the next vote could be an upset.

Look how cute these aprons turned out! I was skeptical when I first saw the fabric Holly sent, but she knows what she's doing. They were easy to make once I started paying attention. I plan on making a bunch more with fabric I have in my stash because they take very little yardage. I might make Savannah wear one while I'm cooking dinner just for fun!

Be Thankful

I thought I should show you my latest attempt at trying to help my kids and myself be more grateful. Did you know it takes 21 days for you to make or break a habit? I made these cute gratitude journals for my family to write four things in EVERY night. Hopefully this helps us to remember how lucky we are instead of what we don't have or didn't get. If in 21 days I don't see an improvement we'll go on for another 21. Wish me luck. What do you think?

Free Fonts!

I was on SugarDoodle last night and one of her random pages was kevinandamanda.com where you will find 103 different fonts you can download for free! They even give you instructions in case you are challenged like me. I don't have a lot of fonts and they had some cute ones. I tried it and it's easy and fast. BTW, on the Vintage Chic blog you can listen to Michael Johns and Jason Castro sing their Beatles songs. I love free stuff!

What the HELL?!?!?!!?

Okay, sorry. But I was just looking on one of my favorite blogs, www.vintagechic.typepad.com, she is a great designer and comes to Pine Needles all the time. She takes a lot of her pictures at the Village. Anyway, I was just reading through her comments to see if she had a reply to something I had written her, when who has a comment posted a couple below mine - you guessed it!! The freakin Witch!!!! Why is she everywhere I am? I can't handle it!!! Can you tell the meds are not working tonight? I just need to breathe. I think I better go upstairs and vent to Tyler, he won't mind its only 12:45am and he's sleeping, what do you think? That's why I had to write all my sisters at once - maybe Karie would be awake, but I won't take the chance. I need some chocolate!! Geez, can't imagine why my weight is up, can't seem to get enough chocolate these days.

Idol was Great!

So I voted for Archuleta, Brooke & Michael - of course. They were great! I think that Simon was really mean to Carly, don't you? Why wasn't Syesha wearing any shoes? It's time for Kristy to leave, it just isn't fun watching her - it's almost painful. Dolly is so sweet. Why hasn't she had kids? How much work has Dolly had done? That should be our next Poll! Tyler is leaving tomorrow morning to go to Monterey, Mexico for 2 weeks, Heaven help me! I hope my new meds kick in soon!! Oh, has anyone heard about Miley Cyrus performing at the Stadium of Fire this summer? Crazy - I didn't think it was possible, but it might be worse than reality, BYU overtaken by pre-teens!! Does this girl ever rest? I hope she isn't the next casualty of Disney Teens.
