Okay, I hadn't seen the blog for a couple of days so I was not aware of the tag game. And I am posting from Tyler's work computer so I don't have my files here. But I am posting a picture that we are REALLY excited about. Today was another visit to the perinatologist and to Dr. Yam. Everything is great and we just want more of the same. It still looks like mid-March for delivery, that's seven more weeks - WAHOO! I've already done seven, so here is to seven more.

Here is my picture. It was taken last summer while the kids were outside playing around and I was playing around with my new camara. Obviously I hadn't got the hang of it yet!

A Game of Tag

OK, I stuck to the rules, even though this is a sad picture of me. Not just sad because of the way I look but sad because it was the day that we took Carmel to be put down.

I was looking at one of my usual blogs and it had been "tagged" by someone else in a cute way. I'm pretty sure I shared this photo before, but here's another reminder of our trip to Disneyland last April. Can you believe how much the kids have grown??

While I'm here, I might as well share a few projects I did for young womens this week. These cute lollipop holders are actually a pocket diecut I got from Sandy. I randomly stamped hearts and flowers on them and tucked a sucker inside.

I thought the girls might like the color scheme of this one. The idea was cuter than my finished card, but the girls put their own spin on it and really seemed to like it. I tried to copy their inking technique on the "rock" block after the fact, but it didn't work too well. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right?

This is an adorable card that our lovely and talented sister, Karie, sent to me after Bob died. I can only tell you that it has been a very "weird" 13 days. It seems just like yesterday that we were at his house, sitting at the kitchen table, talking with him and watching him laugh at his grandson. But then it seems so long ago that we had his viewing and touching graveside service.

It has been nice to see Steve's family together so much and it has made me realize, even more, how incredible my family is. Steve and his family have been honestly shocked at the support my family has given in this difficult time. To me, it is just my family doing what they do best, but to the Preston's it is something that they don't see too often. They continue to talk about how many Burnett's were at the viewing, how Mom and Sherie have made dinners and taken Luke whenever asked, and how wonderful Mom is in general. When I've listened to stories of Hattie, Steve has often looked at me and said, "Does it sound like someone you know?" (referring to our Mom).

I know this all may sound a little corny, but I want you to know that you continue to amaze me. I am truly SO grateful to have all of you. I love you!

True Beauties

Did anyone watch True Beauty last night? It was a pretty funny show, but we could never be on it. Our "inner beauty" would win hands down!! But, would you want to watch yourself act so conceited and rude after the fact? Just to be safe, at least hold the door open for someone now and then!!

New scenery!!!

Hooray for Holly. I am sure she will be just as bored laying at home as she was in the hospital. But she'll enjoy a change of scenery for a while anyway. Too bad they don't send her home with an ice machine!! Plus she'll get to see this cute face a lot more :)
