TADA!!! I actually have a headboard, footboard and nightstands! Of course, this is the only furniture in the room for now. Baby steps to a complete bedroom:) I have a queen bedframe in one corner and it's not in the way at all. If you are looking to get rid of any furniture, please let me know. I have lots of room to fill!Friday, February 27, 2009

Good-bye Arfie
My sweet & loving sisters-please forgive me. After one too many fights with S
teve, about Arthur, I told him if he didn't like him it was his problem. Well, he took that literally and found a new owner for Arfie. A single, 40-something, woman picked him up today and HOPEFULLY will give him a good home. I cried last night thinking of giving up on him and I'm crying now just thinking about it. I hope this woman gives him all the attention he deserves. What makes me super sad is Luke didn't even ask for him tonight. Not even when I put him to bed...we always say good-night to Arfie.
Goodbye Arfie....I really will miss you!

How can they do this to me?!?
I know with what is happening in our neck of the woods right now this isn't important, but HOW? One of my favorite blogs that I check daily has gone private! I mean really what does it hurt if strangers watch your every move? I feel so rejected! She had trouble with anonymous comments that weren't so nice but can't you just block them? I really would like to get ahold of those people that have taken away my little pleasure of sneaking into someone else's life!

It doesn't Get Any Better Than This!

After yesterday, when I was able to change Will's diaper and also lift him for the first time, I didn't think it could get any better; boy was I wrong! Today I was finally able to hold my sweet little Will! What an emotional and overwhelming moment. To think that I had to wait until my son was over one week old before I was able to hold him, I can hardly believe it. Not only was I finally able to hold him, but Will also opened his eyes for me. We hadn't seen him with his eyes open since the day he was born! Today I am the happiest mother in the world! The one thing that I am reminded of daily is how much can be taken for granted. In Will's small room there are six babies fighting for their lives every day, and Will is the biggest at a whopping 2lbs 10oz! Unbelievable! What a miracle!
