Hello, my friend, hello

Has anyone seen my sisters? I know they are out there somewhere. I heard from Sherie last week but this picture shows at least a couple of others I haven't heard from. As a matter of fact - I don't think the chick on the far left has ever said her howdee's on our blog. Let go girls!

And by the way, does this picture make anyone else long for the happiest place on earth??? I can't believe I actually captured a picture of me on vacation. Usually I have a lot of everyone else but have no proof I was ever there.

november punch

This is one of today's projects. This is the punch needle kit for the November club. Finally, a use for the plaques we have so many of. Now back to stitching, I have two new cross-stitch models to finish today because our market flier has to go in the mail tomorrow.

School at last

School finally started and I really thought things would instantly be easier. I was wrong. I am still tring to clean up from three months of kids running wild. There is a mess in every corner, on every counter and under every object. Hopefully I will catch up soon and then I can relax. Here are a couple pictures of my little pretties on their first day of school. Aren't they gorgeous!?!

YEE HAW!

Thanks to my sisters for all you did to make the family reunion a real hum-dinger! It was so much fun to be together - something about being with my sisters that makes me feel alive! I would like to know, however, why all the rhythm and dancing ability was given to Natalie instead of being spread out among the rest of us.

Believe it.....or not

My cute daughter came running into my sewing room one day saying "mom, mom, you need this!". She had written down the 800 number and everything. She proceeded to recite all the amazing things this wonder could do.

I don't know what I was thinking but I ordered it and it has been sitting in my office for months. I got it out today and thought I should either try it or get rid of it. Oh my gosh! It is amazing! I even have been using a cream from my podiatrist trying to soften my feet and nothing. One use and I have the beautiful feet of a 30 year old. Now I can stop my obsessive compulsive picking at my feet. So any sisters whose feet are suffering from a summer of flip-flops you should give this a try!

DRESS UP

Here is the latest of my Paper Doll Quilt blocks. I am going to introduce the block of the month at Pine Needle's September open house. I hope people like them, I have had a lot of fun creating them. Now just to decide which outfit to include with the doll for the first month.

My state fair entry

I got my first set of pictures developed from my new camara and I think they are pretty good. I still have no idea really on how to use all the other settings besides auto but I am determined to figure it out. I can't wait to use it at the reunion. See you all there!

My 'lil Pig Pen

A day in the life of Luke. This is the painting Clark's car in mud picture. Really, this is pretty much what he looks like at the end of a normal day. I thought it turned out pretty cute. Once Sherie and I take out photography class, I'll know how to sharpen this picture a bit. So cute.....;)

CANT SLEEP

I two excedrin at 5pm today and now it's 2am and I CAN'T SLEEP. I sewed a scripture tote for one of my new beehives and then decided to do something crazy and actually scrapbook. What better topic to scrap than my sisters. Not a good picture but you get the idea. The quote that in the strips is "To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each others hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time."

Also had to include this cute picture from Buc's wedding. I don't know who took it, the girls were playing with the camera but I think its cute.

Is it enough already?

And no, I'm not quoting a Seinfeld episode!! Just wondering if you are sick to death of my cards. I had to show you another project I made using my monogram stamp. I am having so much fun with it (other than it's a pain to clean!) I may have gotten carried away with the "bling", but oh well.

Thanks to my lovely sisters who have taken the time to post. I'm happy to read and see something other than my own ramblings!

Finally, I have made something

So I finally sat down and put the designs that have been floating in my head onto fabric. These are fun and I hope you think so too. Hopefully they will generate some sales in the store as well :)

Reunion monogram

I finally received the small letters for my monogram stamp and made these for the reunion. (Sorry, they're a little blurry.) I made the western stamps myself out of foam! I don't how we'll use them, but I'm sure we'll think of something. Can't wait for the hoedown!!

ROAD TRIP

Well, this year has been quite a trip for our family and tomorrow we embark on another leg of this year long journey. Randy and I are heading to Denver, Colorado, for Randy's nerve reconstruction surgery. We are praying, and I know that many of you are too, that this is the answer we have been looking for. The surgery is Wednesday at 8am and then we will return home on Thursday afternoon. Please keep Randy in your prayers. I love you all!!!!

A post from me....finally!!

Finally after 4 months of living here, our patio is almost there. Thanks to mom, and a saturday of sewing, we got the covers finished. Isn't the fabric lovely! Cross your fingers that my dog doesn't destroy it in a day. Anyone up for a new dog??? I'll post the front yard next. ttfn
